Pros: L1 at 512, L2 at 2Mb., 89w draw, 2.6 GHz.
Cons: still only provided in a 90 Nm core
The Bottom Line: Until advanced cores come out with similar cache and improved speed, the 5200 will continue be a nice score for its price, speed, and longevity. Check for lowered prices.
Review: Single core or dual core it just depends on your wallet and needs in AM2 chip offerings. AMD is offering 90 Nm and 65 Nm chips boasting ever improving lower voltage requirements. That directly reflects in lower heat and an improved lifespan and operating ...
