Do not be lured by the low prices, when things go wrong MicroDirect hide behind their RMA system and a 6 week repair/replace policy. Computer motherboard failed, obtained RMA, returned to MD, confirmed receipt and advised of 6 week policy. Since searched internet for other peoples experience and found catalogs of problems. Low price, false economy - I'll certainly no use them again.

Useless. They fail to deal with or reply to emails despite promising to do so on the phone. they takes your money and don't deliver the goods. Watch out! I won't use them again.

i had to return these goods as they were somehow not compatible with my system although according to my motherboard manual they should have been. the return proccess was excelent apart from micro direct took twice as long as they stated to return my payment and had to be reminded in the proccess

Placing the order was ok. Poor tracking system and errors on the despatch system meant that it looked like I had problems with my payment, which wasnt so. Took 30 minutes to get customer support to answer my call.
But the goods arrived ontime.

I have placed an order by phone and through the website and found the level of service excellent. Their prices are very reasonable too. However, which is a big however, they use City Link as their delivery courier which lets them down badly. I have had a few problems with City Link. They should ditch City Link and I would consider using them again.

Having used Microdirect a number of times this last experience was not good. The AMTRAK delivery tracking system was useless to the point of misleading and emails from Microdirect indicating when to expect the delivery were not much better. When contacted AMTRAK Admitted their system was at fault but Microdirect more or less blamed me for not understanding the delivery system. I defended my position by quoting the emails that told me the delivery to expect but have not had any reply on this score. On the plus side the item when it did arrive was of the good quality that I expected from Microdirect and is installed and working fine.

The RAM didbt work I was given a refund without fuss in good time. I will definately be shopping with Microdirect again in the future. You are restoring my faith in sellars after the disasterous Express Pc's.

Only issue i had was the parcel was delivered to a neighbour and i wasn't told it had been delivered, until i'd investigated further. But only a minor problem.
